Bonner Kunstverein announces its annual sale of Jahresgaben with contributions from 24 artists including paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and prints. This year’s sale features unique works by Ulla von Brandenburg, Anna-Sophie Berger, Andreas Breunig, Cecilia Edefalk, Allison Katz, Sarah Lehnerer, Nicolas Pelzer, Benoît Platéus, Henrik Potter, Babette Semmer, Masar Sohail, Leslie Thornton and Josef Zekoff. Robert Brambora und Stefani Glauber, recipients of our Peter Mertes Stipendium in 2018 donate new works. Arno Beck, artist from Bonner Kunstverein's Atelierhaus has produced a limited edition of letterpress prints. Neven Allgeier and Alex Grein made new photographic editions exclusively for the Kunstverein. Other donations come from Judith Bernstein, Erica Baum, Ghislaine Leung and Susanne M. Winterling. Furthermore, we offer works from the estate of Horst Ademeit and Adelhyd van Bender.

The opening will be accompanied by short presentations on selected Jahresgaben by curators, art historians and members of Bonner Kunstverein. Speakers include Linda Conze (Curator for photography, Kunstpalast Düsseldorf), Anthony DiPaola (Artist and member of the board of Bonner Kunstverein), Fatima Hellberg (Director, Bonner Kunstverein), Lisa Klosterkötter (Curator, Cologne), Max Rauschenbach (Research Assistant, Kunstmuseum Bonn), Luisa Schlotterbeck (Art Historian, Cologne), Roswitha Weber (Member of  Bonner Kunstverein), Prof. Harald Wolter-von dem Knesebeck (Kunsthistorisches Institut, Universität Bonn).
