Gert & Uwe Tobias: start review

This year’s New Talents Biennale Cologne project Start Review highlights the beginning years of internationally renowned artists such as Gerhard Richter, Neo Rauch, August Sander, Sigmar Polke and Käthe Kollwitz. Refocussing on the post-study period the project reminds us that every artist was once a „new talent“. The artworks are exhibited in two phases by several art institutions in Köln and Bonn. The Kunstverein Bonn shows early works of Gert and Uwe Tobias from June 14 until August 20, 2014. Both brothers were recipients oft he Peter Mertes Stipendium in 2004.
