Titled with the Icelandic word for fire, ‘Eldur’ is a series of works that describe a somewhat random process of mark-making. The surface of the works elude a fixed structure, inviting associations with natural phenomena. Valerie Häußler (b. 1983, Herdecke) has a studio in Bonner Kunstverein’s Atelierhaus. She lives and works in Bonn.
