These printing plates display fragments of text from ‘Scenes for an Inauguration’, a play based upon the Studio’s inaugural performance at Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf, in 2013. Written in collaboration with the artist Keren Cytter, the full text was exhibited at Bonner Kunstverein in 2016. Studio for Propositional Cinema (founded 2013, Düsseldorf) are an anonymous collective based in Düsseldorf. Their recent exhibitions include solo presentations at Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf; MUMOK, Vienna and Kunsthaus Bregenz (all 2016). Studio for Propositional Cinema was awarded Bonner Kunstverein’s Peter Mertes Stipendium in 2015.
