Our annual Members Meeting takes place on Thursday, 23 May at 7 pm.

As a supporting program, we are organizing a panel discussion exclusively for the members of the Bonner Kunstverein on the topic of ‘Artist-led activity’. 

The joint discussion with participants from the ‘off-space’ scene in the Rhineland begins at 6 pm and is devoted to the question of what alternatives the self-organized spaces can offer today to conventional exhibition contexts. 

The focus is on the motivations from which these places have been formed, as well as the diverse curatorial and artistic approaches pursued by the respective ‘off-spaces’.

The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Anne-Marie Bonnet (Professor at the University of Bonn and Vice-Chair of the Bonner Kunstverein). The other members of the panel will be Bettina Marx (Tiefkeller, Bonn), Gesine Borcherdt (Capri, Düsseldorf), Patrick C. Haas (Mélange, Cologne) and Linda Nadji (Bruch & Dallas, Cologne).
