Studio visits with Anne Pöhlmann and Christoph Westermeier in Düsseldorf

We cordially invite our members to reserve a place for a special excursion to two artists' studios in Düsseldorf. The studio visits offer an insight into the artistic practices of Anne Pöhlmann and Christoph Westermeier. Both artists were awarded with the Peter Mertes Stipendium and had their solo shows at Bonner Kunstverein. The meeting point for the excursion is Bonn Central Station. About the artists: Anne Pöhlmann (b. 1978) studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and Mainz.  In 2012 she founded, together with Diango Hernández, the artist platform lonelyfingers. Her photographic works have been presented in solo and group exhibitions, including Langen Foundation, Neuss, Museum Morsbroich, Leverkusen (both 2019), Kestnergesellschaft, Hannover (2017) and Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten Marl (2013). She lives and works in Düsseldorf. Christoph Westermeier (b. 1984) studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and at De Ateliers, Amsterdam. His photographs, installations and performances have been presented in following institutions: Museum Morsbroich, Leverkusen (2019), Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster (2013), Coalmine, Winterthur (2013), Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam (2012) and Julia Stoschek Collection, Düsseldorf (2011). He lives and works in Düsseldorf.
