The latter is known for groundbreaking science fiction and fantasy novels, such as "A Wizard of Earthsea" and "The Left Hand of Darkeness". "Die Deutschen und ihre Männer" by Helke Sander (1989, 97 min., OV) introduces male protagonists that do not represent the typical heroic figures often targeted by a documentary camera.
