Stammtisch VIII with Julia Krings
The Pygmalion Effect of the Creative Maschine
On Tuesday the 7th June, we gather for our monthly Stammtisch, in a talk and discussion entitled The Pygmalion Effect of the Creative Machine with Julia Krings. In her art historical research and teaching practice, Krings considers current sociopolitical contexts and key shift in the technological conditions and tools of how art is made, shown and experienced. In this talk, she will focus on strands around the ethics, authorship and some of the new conceptual challenges and possibilities of artificial intelligence in artistic making.
Julia Krings is lecturer for diversity, international affairs and faculty development at the Faculty of Philosophy and teaches at the Institute of Art History at the University of Bonn.
