Denny’s screen print uses a diagram first developed for his acclaimed exhibition, ‘Products for Organising’, at the Serpentine Gallery, London in 2015. The exhibition explored parallels within the cultures of computer hacking and management or governance. Simon Denny (b. 1982, Auckland) has held major solo exhibitions at WIELS, Contemporary Art Centre, Brussels (2016); the Serpentine Gallery, London; MoMA PS1, New York (both 2015); Portikus, Frankfurt (2014) and Mumok, Vienna (2013). He was awarded the Baloise Art Prize and the Ars Viva Prize in 2012 and represented New Zealand at the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015. He lives and works in Berlin.
