Anthea Hamilton’s print employs a recurrent motif from her recent work, a ‘wavy’ platform boot that she has previously rendered in a diverse array of sculptural materials including concrete, clay, walnut wood and alabaster stone. Anthea Hamilton (b. 1978, London) has held solo exhibitions at Schinkel Pavillon, Berlin; The Hepworth Wakefield  (2016); Sculpture Center, New York; ICA, London (2015); Firstsite, Colchester (2012); La Salle de Bains, Lyon; Kunstverein Freiburg (2009); Chisenhale Gallery, London (2008). Her work was part of 13th Lyon Biennale and 10th Gwangju Biennale (both 2015). Hamilton was shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 2016. She lives and works in London.
