Anna Fasshauer's sculptures are the result of a processual working method involving the direct moulding of industrial materials. The monochrome, rectangular wall sculpture looks like folded paper, blurring the boundary between object and image. Its resistant appearance makes the physical process of creation almost palpable. Anna Fasshauer's (born 1975, Cologne) work has been shown in: Sculpture Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US (2020); Kunstverein Oldenburg (2019); Kunstverein Reutlingen (2018); Kunstraum Fuhrwerkswaage, Cologne (2017) and at the Skulpturen-Triennale, Bingen am Rhein (2014). She lives and works in Berlin.
