These works reflect Louisa Clement’s ongoing investigation of the relationship between humans and technology. Derived from the video "Not Lost in You"(2016) they show gloved hands interacting with mannequins that the artist refers to as ‘avatars’. Louisa Clement (b. 1987, Bonn) has held solo exhibitions at Cité des Arts, Paris (2017); Rencontres Photographiques, Toulouse (2016) and Max Ernst Museum, Brühl (2013). Her work was also presented at the 6th Marrakech Biennale (2016). She lives and works in Bonn and Düsseldorf.
