On Tuesday, 10 October, we reconvene for our monthly Stammtisch with artist-run, Düsseldorf-based Rinde am Rhein & Speakeasy.

Tobias Hohn, Philip Markert, Philipp Naujoks and Christoph Wiedemann, will share their experiences of working in different artist-run spaces and formats and reflect on the conditions and possibilities that artists face when organising their own venues and conditions for making and dissemination.

In this context, we will explore the question of the relationship between spaces run by artists, the city and its inhabitants, especially in the face of increasing desertification of the inner cities. We will also think about forms of cultural production and community that are possible in independent project spaces.

The Stammtisch is free for members and students. For everyone else, we kindly ask for a donation of 5 euros. Drinks and a light meal will be served.
