Bradley Davies' Jahresgaben are studies which form the base for new paintings. Although Davies' painting practice cannot be clearly classified stylistically, his works are characterised by a certain sense of humour and a reality that plays with the figurativeness and ambiguity of language. The topics span from references to social orders and their mechanisms to influences from music, comedy and satire. Bradley Davies (b. 1990, London) has had solo and group exhibitions at Heidelberger Kunstverein (2021); Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst, Bremen (2020); Temporary Gallery, Cologne (2019); Neuer Essener Kunstverein (2018) and Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt (2017).
